Founded in 2011 and based in Bolton, Raise The Youth Foundation is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise that provides totally unique Education and Therapeutic support for Greater Manchester’s marginalised children and young people (aged 11-25) and their families. Working closely with the Community also forms an important part of our overall plans and vision.

Raise Education & Wellbeing School forms part of the Raise The Youth Foundation and is proud to be able to offer excellent Education and Therapeutic support for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health issues.

Raise Education & Wellbeing School is a Registered Specialist Independent School and looks forward to building on this as part of its aims and objectives. Crucially, Raise has an overall responsibility for meeting 170 Independent School Standards, as well as ensuring it is working towards becoming an Outstanding Independent Therapeutic School.

Raise offers a person-centred led approach and our team has been hand-picked to provide a unique blend of highly qualified, caring, experienced professionals, from a multi-disciplinary background, including: Education; Health & Wellbeing; Criminal Justice; Social Care and the world of Business. Raise also has an infrastructure that is designed to achieve best value, quality and, above all, puts children and young people first.

Raise has at its heart a determined, caring and successful approach in helping to re-engage children and young people, allowing them to realise their true potential. In fact, many of our young people have already benefited from this approach and have gone on to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
