Founded in 2011, Raise The Youth Foundation is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise that provides totally unique Education and Therapeutic support for Greater Manchester’s marginalised children and young people (aged 11-25) and their families. Working closely with the Community also forms an important part of our overall plans and vision.

In addition, its infrastructure is designed to achieve best value, quality and, above all, puts Young People first.
The video on the left shows CEO – Jason Steele – talk about Raise the Youth and his vision for the future.
During the past 6 years Raise has gone through an interesting, challenging and exciting journey as a social business. Today, our main core business centres around Education & Wellbeing services for marginalised children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are extremely proud to have achieved Registered School status and are dedicated to becoming an outstanding one.
Raise Education and Wellbeing School provides totally unique education and holistic therapeutic support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
Our Wellbeing Support Team consists of highly qualified professionals from a multi-disciplinary background, who create caring, child centred plans to address the needs of each young person. We deliver education in a way that works for the children and young people who attend Raise. So, our unique curriculum is designed to inspire and motivate – not force them down a track that hasn’t previously worked. Our values include: fairness; equality; a person centred approach; democracy, reaching high, working hard. We want to develop good inclusive British citizens who make the world a better place.
We offer choice; we offer opportunities; we offer support. But most of all, we try our best to inspire young people each and every day. Our young people are at the centre of everything we do. We believe in them. We try to help them believe in themselves.
The main purpose of Raise is to bring together people, partners, neighbourhoods and industry, to raise marginalised children and young people (aged 11-25) – by providing a wide range of innovative Education and Wellbeing Services.
We put children and young people first in everything we do, so that they progress in the right way, become good British Citizens and, above all, we provide the motivation and inspiration for them to achieve their aims and ambitions in life.
We believe that the best way for our children and young people to accomplish this is by providing the very best educational and therapeutic support to match their individual needs. Our team at Raise has been hand-picked to provide a unique blend of highly qualified, caring, experienced professionals, from a multi-disciplinary background – including: Education; Health & Wellbeing; Criminal Justice; Social Care and the world of Business.
Looking ahead, we plan to continue to help and inspire as many young people as possible, using the same principles and blueprint that led us to opening our very first School in Bolton. We are keen to invest in children and young people all around Greater Manchester, by building on our unique offering and full commitment to the provision of education and wellbeing across the Greater Manchester Authorities.
